Experience the thrills of misters, waterfalls, and total darkness

Blue Tubaluba lets you have fun YOUR way

One of the funnest parts of going to a water park with the whole family is, well, being WITH the family -- and that goes for either family or friends! Having said that, not all slides give you the special chance to experience those summertime chills and thrills together, which is exactly where Blue Tubaluba comes in. This is Sandcastle’s first dual-rider enclosed slide where you can choose to stay solo or to take the tropical-colored plunge with a trusted buddy by your side. You’ll experience the thrills of misters, waterfalls, and even total darkness along one of two 450-foot slides before splashing down into a four-foot deep reception pool. The question of just which slide is the most epic adventure is hotly debated, though, so you’ll have to try both and see for yourself!

Now, seeing as this is one of the biggest splashes you can make here at Sandcastle, you’ll have to be at least 48” tall. Not to mention the fact that final splashdown can be a bit of a doozy, so make sure you and any buddy you bring are good swimmers. Also, to make sure that your big blue slide down is as safe as possible, please note that single riders must not exceed 250 lbs. The combined weight of double riders must not exceed 400 lbs; but, as long as you’re all good, grab that buddy and get ready to slide!

For more totally awesome tubing for you and the family, you can head on over to Tubers Tower, where single riders experience a 400-foot plunge. Thunder Run, meanwhile, provides some of the best scenic views of the lovely Monongahela River from 50-feet above the Boardwalk with even more tubing thrills. For a more relaxing chance to take in the natural scenery, Cliffhangers gives you the opportunity to soak in “sky ponds” and do just that!

Check out all of our water slides!
