  • Lifeguard (Age 15+)

    Role Summary:

    Perform lifeguard duties while following all park safety and operating procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform lifeguard duties while following all park safety and operating procedures
    • Participate in department audits and required in-service skills training sessions
    • Work required hours scheduled and adhere to all labor laws
    • Communicate park information to guests regarding proper attraction procedures, directions, accessibility, and park policies
    • Communicate appropriate park or team related concerns to Leadership Team


    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Keep designated work areas clean and safe of trip hazards
    • Assist with park clean up during pre and post operations
    • Any other duties assigned by management


    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 15 years of age
    • Must be able to successfully complete the Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Training Program, including a swim test
    • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
    • Good analytical problem-solving skills
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills
    • Previous guest-related experience is preferred

    • Provide superior guest service for all our guests.
    • Prepare and serve food and drinks in a safe and timely manner.
    • Clean prep areas and serving areas.
    • Take orders and operate point of sale system
    • Assist with catered events and birthday parties
    • Assist with deliveries and warehouse inventory.


    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Provide assistance to other departments as directed.
    • Participate in audits and training sessions.
    • Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws.
    • Communicate appropriate department, park, or team-related concerns to the Leadership Team.

    • Must be at least 14 years of age.
    • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

  • Admissions (Age 14+)

    Role Summary:

    The Admissions Department provides excellent customer service to all our guests. The Admissions Team is responsible for greeting guests, selling and redeeming admission tickets and passes, processing season pass photos, and assisting guests with rentals in the park. All Team Members assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Welcome and greet all guests as they enter the park.
    • Communicate with guests and answer questions regarding park policies.
    • Scan admission media to ensure valid access to guests as they enter the park.
    • Operate a computerized point of sale system.
    • Give appropriate change and receipts when necessary.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Comply and enforce all Sandcastle policies and procedures.
    • Perform duties in any department at Sandcastle when necessary.


    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with bag check and security screening of guests entering the park
    • Participate in audits and in-service training sessions to measure department success.
    • Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws.
    • Communicate appropriate park or team-related concerns to the Leadership Team.


    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 16 years of age.
    • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Bilingual skills are helpful.
    • Good analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
    • Previous data entry experience is helpful.
    • Previous guest-related experience is preferred.

    This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of attractions and facilities throughout the park.

    • Inspect Park Facilities for Safety and Suitability Clean Attractions, and Equipment/Maintenance Areas.
    • Clean Attractions.
    • Maintain Safe and Sanitary Maintenance Areas.
    • Monitor Pool Chemicals for Safety and Compliance with Health Requirements.
    • Willfully perform duties in any department at Sandcastle when necessary.
    • Comply and enforce all Sandcastle policies and procedures.

    • Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws
    • Communicate appropriate park or team-related concerns to the Leadership Team.


    Skills and Qualifications:

    Responsible for helping ensure overall Park cleanliness including sweeping & trash pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying trash cans, picnic, birthday & backstage areas, and restrooms.

    • Talk with guests and answer questions regarding park policies, procedures, or destinations.
    • Work required hours scheduled while following all labor laws.
    • Communicate appropriate department, park or team-related concerns to the Leadership Team.


    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 16 years of age.
    • The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
    • Good analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
    • Previous guest-related experience is preferred.
