Bombs Away is a 305-foot-long freefalling flight of screaming, soaking fun. This extreme new drop slide will debut as a central part of the ultimate Steel City Summer coming to Sandcastle. Riders will step into an enclosed capsule while taking in serene views from the park's highest point. As the countdown hits zero, the floor beneath abruptly vanishes and drops down into a twisting, turning loop through a closed-tube fly-by down six stories at a jaw-dropping 26 feet per second.
