Health and Safety Tips to protect against COVID-19
We want you to know the health and safety of our Guests and Team Members is our top priority. While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. Please, read this page fully to ensure the best experience possible as you plan your visit and join us. Also, be sure to review important updates to our Operating Schedule.
The health and safety of our Guests and Team Members is our top priority. In these unprecedented times, we have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to help protect everyone. But we can’t do it alone. We are counting on everyone’s efforts to do their part by cooperating with these new measures that are designed to keep every person visiting and/or working at Sandcastle Waterpark healthy and safe.
Here are the specific steps we’re taking in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission
Asking everyone to wash hands often with soap and water.
Providing sanitizer stations throughout the park.
|Education & Training
Enhanced staff education and training on cleanliness and safety practices. Please read and follow all posted safety signage.
Requiring social distance of six feet between your those who are not fully vaccinated.
Limiting the number of guests to facilitate social distancing.
Performing enhanced sanitizing throughout the day on high-touch surfaces and rides.
In order to comply with key health and safety measures surrounding limiting capacity, social distancing, and touch-free payment, planning a visit to Sandcastle Waterpark will look different this summer.
While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. People who do not show symptoms can still spread COVID-19. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable and at higher risk for severe illness. Guests should familiarize themselves with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should attend our facilities. If you or a family member are ill or think that you may be getting ill, please postpone your visit until you are well.
By visiting our facility, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Facial coverings must do the following:
Costume masks are not considered appropriate and are prohibited. Face shields are not permitted on any attractions and are not a substitute for a facial covering. Face shields are permitted within the park when worn with an acceptable facial covering.
Guests are required to remove facial coverings while on water attractions, in complying with water safety best practices. Guests may also remove their masks while eating or drinking.
I had a 2020 Season Pass. Can I still use it?
All 2020 Season Passes, except the Summer Saver, will include both the 2020 and 2021 seasons. 2020 Summer Saver Season Passes have expired and cannot be used in 2021.
Does my 2020 Season Pass get benefits in 2021?
Yes! Sandcastle will not issue new benefits to 2020 Season Passholders; instead, the expiration date on the 2020 benefits has been extended to the end of our 2021 season. That means unused finite benefits (such as buddy tickets) can be redeemed during the 2021 summer season, while reusable benefits (such as food and retail discounts) are included for 2020 Passholders.
What will happen with my Dining Pass?
Our plan is to ensure you receive equal value for any experience or benefit you missed out on this year due to COVID-19, such as the All Summer Dining Pass. All Summer Dining Passes and other add-ons will also be valid through the end of the 2021 Summer Season. Please note, we are no longer selling Dining Passes for the 2021 season.
I didn't use my tickets from 2020. What can I do?
Guests with questions about 2020 single-day tickets can email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect with our Guest Services Department.
