From I-376, take Exit 74 toward Homestead. Take the exit ramp off the Homestead/ Greys Bridge. Go straight onto Sandcastle Drive. We're located next to the Waterfront shopping, restaurant and entertainment complex.
I-376 Construction Notice
From July 10 through August 3, the Commercial Street Bridge on I-376 Parkway East will be replaced and temporarily closed. Sandcastle is fully open and easy to reach from every direction using detours and alternate routes.
Use the routes below to plan your trip, and don't forget to give yourself a few extra minutes. We'll see you at the park!
Local Detour Westbound
From westbound (inbound) I-376, take the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) exit
At the end of the ramp, turn left onto South Braddock Avenue
Continue onto the Rankin Bridge
Turn Right onto Route 837
Enter the Waterfront Shopping Center and follow the signs to Sandcastle
Local Detour
From eastbound (outbound) I-376, take the Squirrel Hill/Homestead (Exit 74) exit, continuing straight onto Beechwood Boulevard toward Homestead
Continue straight onto Browns Hill Road
Continue onto the Homestead Grays Bridge
Turn Right onto Route 837
Enter the Waterfront Shopping Center and follow the signs to Sandcastle
