An Update from Our General Manager

As a part of that commitment, Sandcastle will implement a Chaperone Policy that will be in effect during all operating hours beginning Friday, July 10. Under the policy, guests ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other supervising adult age 21 or older while visiting the park.

As the General Manager of both Sandcastle and Kennywood, I've had the opportunity to see firsthand the positive impact this policy has had at Kennywood this summer. We've heard from many guests who appreciate the welcoming atmosphere it has helped reinforce, and that feedback gave us confidence to introduce the same policy at Sandcastle.

While each park offers a different experience, they share the same commitment to providing a place where families can create memories worth repeating together. Bringing a consistent approach to both parks helps us continue delivering the experience our guests expect whenever they visit.
